Q: How would you define your current series?
“Surrealist landscape paintings. In each painting, a small figure, reminiscent of an ant in size, navigates through a world that is ominously vast. These solitary figures appear pondering their next move amidst a landscape fraught with obstacles and challenges. There’s a palpable sense of isolation as these lone travelers traverse their journey alone. They are a way for me to process the complexities of existence and the resilience required to navigate life’s unpredictable terrain.” - Amanda Oleander
